Software from Austria will control the ÖAMTC ePower charging network in the future
ÖAMTC Verbandsbetriebe GmbH changed its ePower charging network to the Charge Point Management System (CPMS) of e-vo eMobility GmbH in March 2026. ÖAMTC ePower is thus relying on domestic technology for one of the largest and fastest growing charging networks in Austria.
ÖAMTC ePower offers its customers around 30,000 charging points throughout Austria in its own charging network and partner network. With the switch to the Austrian CPMS from e-vo eMobility, a software solution specially developed for professional charging infrastructure is now being used, which centrally controls charging points across locations, collects operating data in a structured manner and makes it publicly accessible via roaming interfaces.
Austrian technology for growing charging infrastructure

CPMS and load management as key technologies
In the future, e-vo's Charge Point Management System will form the digital backbone of ÖAMTC ePower charging stations, from AC wall boxes to DC fast chargers. The CPMS allows charging points to be centrally monitored, analysed in real time and integrated into partner networks via roaming, thereby optimising utilization, availability and user experience. As a further expansion stage, intelligent load management is being developed: As a result, dynamic systems will distribute the available connection power to several vehicles charging at the same time as required, thus avoiding network congestion and reducing investment and operating costs.
